About Pemberton Wildlife Association

Founded in 1962, Pemberton Wildlife Association is arguably the oldest association in the Corridor dedicated to promoting conservation, preservation, and enhancement of wildlife and outdoor recreational resources. Over the past 5 decades, PWA  has done this through science, conservation, education, and natural resource development; providing a strong platform for members to submit views and recommendations to governmental and private agencies in the interests of safeguarding wildlife and maintaining access to all forest and other recreational areas around our beautiful and pristine Valley. As part of education, PWA continually involves residents in its attempts to make them aware of the dangers of land, water, and air pollution; act wherever possible to prevent pollution, and cooperate with all groups with similar objectives.

Pemberton Wildlife Association is a volunteer-based, not-for-profit organization formed with the recognition that true appreciation of nature comes from knowledge and involvement, often through sport. PWA advocates the common interests of ethical hunters, anglers and outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to the responsible stewardship of our environment. The aims of the Association are carried out without the purpose of gain for its members and any profit or other accretion is used towards furthering its goals. Read more.
