Live Fly Tying presented by Brian Smith

Brian Smith is an accomplished fly tier, rod builder, author of three books, and a fly-fishing enthusiast with over fifty years of experience. His specialty is fly-fishing for trout in BC’s lakes and streams, the foothills’ rivers of Southern Alberta, and chasing steelhead and salmon in the watercourses of northwest BC. Brian’s work has appeared in the Outdoor Edge magazine, Fly Fishing & Tying Journal, the Canadian Fly Fisher magazine and Northwood Magazine. He’s currently living and chasing fish in Prince George. Brian will speak about fly fishing in British Columbia and will share his tips and tricks on access for the upcoming fall season. Brian will also be showing a fly-tying lesson, explaining step by step how to tie flies chosen by you!
