Join us for our Spring Webinar Series!

Join us the third week in March as we celebrate spring with an engaging webinar series! This year’s Spring Webinar Series features an exciting line up of speakers in topics including Ice Fishing, Fly Fishing, and Gardening in Nature. We encourage community members of all ages and experience levels to join in and expand your current knowledge and skills. Depending on your interests, you can select specific topics or attend all three webinars to hone your outdoor skills this spring.

All webinars are hosted live over Zoom and will include a question-and-answer period at the end where you will be able to engage with our guest speakers

This series is free and open to all community members, and we encourage you to invite your colleagues to attend. More information about the speakers will be posted a prior to the webinar.

With winter winding down, the Kamloops Fish and Game Club will be sharing a wealth of experience learned over the years during Ice Fishing 101. This roundtable discussion will cover topics like fishing locations, different types of gear, setting up a site, and how to target specific species during fishing excursions. This presentation will also include interactive displays, showing you firsthand all the gear and materials required to have a great day on the ice.

Gardening for Nature, presented by Kristen Miskelly, Biologist and Co-owner of Satinflower Nurseries, emphasizes native plants that can help create beautiful and biodiverse landscapes around our homes.
