Every year, BCWF member clubs are the driving force behind conservation in British Columbia. Whether restoring fish habitat, improving wildlife populations, mentoring new hunters and anglers, advocating for public access, or introducing youth to the outdoors, your club is making a lasting difference in your community.
The 2027 BCWF Annual Convention, taking place April 8 –10 in Cranbrook, is where we come together to celebrate those achievements, share ideas, and shape the future of conservation in British Columbia.
The Club Cavalcade is one of the Convention’s most meaningful traditions because it represents the strength of our Federation. It is a celebration of what we can accomplish together. This year, clubs from every region will be able to showcase the conservation work taking place in their communities while demonstrating their shared commitment to the future of BCWF.
Why We’re Asking for Your Club’s Support This Year
The 2027 Convention in Cranbrook is one of our biggest and most important gatherings yet — and it comes with real costs to put on. Your club’s contribution to the Club Cavalcade directly helps us deliver an event worthy of the conservation work happening across this province.
By participating in the Club Cavalcade, your club will:
- Be recognized during the live Club Cavalcade presentation at the Convention.
- Showcase your club’s commitment to conservation before delegates from across British Columbia.
- Be featured alongside other conservation leaders as we celebrate the outstanding work of our affiliated clubs.
- Demonstrate your continued investment in the Federation and the future of hunting, fishing, habitat conservation, and public access.
More importantly, your participation demonstrates that our Federation is strongest when we work together. Every contribution—regardless of size—represents a club standing with fellow clubs in support of a shared mission.
How the Club Cavalcade Works
Clubs are invited to make monetary donations by cheque or credit card to the BCWF (instructions below). The Convention will feature a live Club Cavalcade cheque presentation, where donor club executives present their donations to the BCWF Executive in person, on stage. It’s a great way to highlight your club’s commitment to conservation — to member clubs in the room, and across BCWF’s social media channels and Member Updates.
If your club has a project or initiative such as membership growth, let us know when you submit your donation – we’d like to get you to present at the convention.
Your donations are 100% tax deductible.
If you plan to mail in your donation, please do so by Friday, March 1, 2027, so we can include your club in the visual presentation at the Convention, along with your club’s logo and full name.
Please make cheques payable to:
