Give a Gift to B.C.'s Fish, Wildlife & Wild Spaces

Thank-you for your support this #GivingTuesday!

Your ongoing support and dedication aids us in protecting, enhancing and promoting the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations. Together we make a difference and we thank you.

The Countdown is On!

Giving Tuesday

By supporting the BC Wildlife Federation this Giving Tuesday you will help us promote, protect and enhance the wise use of the environment for the benefit of present and future generations.

The BC Wildlife Federation works to inspire young conservation stewards through our youth programs; through our Wetlands Education Program we restore, enhance and conserve wetlands across the province; and, we advocate for fish, wildlife and habitat protection.

We want future generations to continue to count the number of deer while on a road trip. We want them to cast their line into clean and healthy water and experience what swims below. Our future generations deserve to explore vast wilderness with a healthy, abundant wildlife population as our previous generations enjoyed and respected. With your help we can do more for B.C.’s Fish, Wildlife and Habitat.

Wetlands Education Program

Since 2010, the Wetlands Education Program (WEP) has restored over 45.75 hectares of wetlands across the province. By doing so they have provided critical habitat for many at risk, extirpated, endangered or threatened species as well as those of special concern. WEP collaborates with BCWF volunteer members, First Nations communities, naturalist clubs, and other interested parties in the communities that host our courses, to create an inclusive and informative program. Thanks to BCWF’s ongoing concern for conserving wetlands, communities can ensure wetlands will be enjoyed by wildlife and people for future generations!

Did you know that our Wetlands Education Program courses are free of charge? This is because we do not believe learning how to be a wetland steward in your community should come with a price. With this motto we have educated hundreds of people who carry on this important work across B.C

Every gift helps make this possible!

Youth & Kids Programs

Our Camps, Go Wild and Wild Kidz, provide a safe, hands-on and fun environment for youth to learn about what makes our province so amazing. We offer all sorts of programs for all ages about BC’s fish, wildlife and their habitats. We also offer courses that teach children how to be safe and prepared when exploring the outdoors at a nominal fee or at no cost, so no one is excluded. Together we can offer the tools to our future conservation stewards.

You can help support the growth of our Youth & Kids Camps by giving a gift this Giving Tuesday.
