Donation Request Letter
Dear Valued Donor,
We are writing to you today to invite your support of the B.C. Wildlife Federation’s (BCWF) in-person Silent Auction taking place at the 67th AGM & Convention located in Nanaimo, BC. The auction will launch on Thursday, April 20th, 2023, and will conclude the evening of Saturday, April 22nd, 2023, at the Awards Banquet. This is an excellent opportunity to align your business with B.C.’s leading conservation organization.
The goal of the silent auction is to raise funds so we can continue to work towards fulfilling our mission to protect and conserve B.C.’s fish, wildlife, and habitat for the benefit of present and future generations. Through your generosity, we will be able to continue running our many programs, workshops, and initiatives that engage communities, teach conservation stewardship and outdoor skills and restore habitats across British Columbia.
The B.C. Wildlife Federation has been providing a voice for conservation for over 65 years, and now represents 99 member clubs and over 40,000 individual members across the province. The BCWF’s Youth Team has engaged over 7,000 youth in programs that educate young leaders and conservation stewards. Additionally, our Wetlands Program has restored over 180 hectares of wetlands throughout BC. Through donating, you are supporting the sound management of BC’s fish, wildlife, habitat, and outdoor recreational resources.
By providing a donation to be showcased in the BCWF’s auction, you will be supporting important conservation initiatives in BC. Consider donating merchandise, an experience, a vacation package, or a gift certificate.
